Trax highlights the songs that need to be in your rotation.

Last year, TV Heads’ made their emergence with the EP Total Fucker, available via Bay Area label OIM Records. That release was an exuberant four-song expression of the foursome’s optimism regarding their move to Los Angeles. But the City of Angeles is not the place for those with small plans, and as such the group has been hard at work on their latest statement, a full-length produced by Jon Nunez (Torche). Today’s Track of the Day spotlight gives you an earful of their sonic ambitions with the first single off of the LP, the soaring, dreampop-infused “Devotional.”

Writes vocalist/guitarist Angelica Tavella of the track:

“Devotional” is the first track that TV Heads has put into the world that is representative of us as a whole. Due to the fact that all four of us have very distinct musical styles, there is always variation in our music, but “Devotional” marks the beginning of a new period for us, and we can’t wait to share the rest of the album down the road.

TV Heads will be touring the west coast and beyond throughout August, in support of the release of “Devotional.” Learn more on the website link provided below.
